Mastered Lessons for better learning
Personalized online music lessons tailored for you.
Guitar
Whether learning acoustic or electric guitar, students are introduced to the instrument through a combination of musical understanding and practical technique.
We work on the foundations of rhythm, notes, pitch, chords, scales, timing, listening, technique, and musical expression before gradually moving into more advanced playing.
Students learn not only where to place their fingers, but also why a chord, note, rhythm, or musical phrase works the way it does.
As they progress, they are encouraged to develop their own musical voice — learning to play with better timing, feel, dynamics, tone, and expression rather than simply reproducing songs.
The goal: Don’t just play the guitar. Understand the music you are playing. Each guitar/electric guitar class includes two practical exercises covering chords, scales, rhythm patterns, lead techniques, or fretboard training along with essential music theory. Students are also given a home practice assignment to strengthen their playing and prepare confidently for the next session.
Vocals / Contemporary Vocals
Each vocal class includes two guided exercises focused on breathing techniques, voice control, pitch accuracy, vocal strength, and singing practice along with important theory and listening skills. Students also receive a home assignment to develop regular vocal practice and prepare for upcoming lessons.
At MJ Masterclasses, singing begins with more than simply learning a song.
We help students develop an understanding of pitch, tone, rhythm, breathing, listening, musical phrasing, dynamics, and expression.
Students learn to hear and recognise pitch before being expected to reproduce it accurately. We work progressively on vocal technique while developing the student’s musical ear and confidence.
As they advance, students learn how to interpret a song, use dynamics and phrasing effectively, and communicate emotion without losing musical control.
Because a good singer is not only someone who can reach the right notes.
A good singer understands what those notes are saying.
Each keyboard and piano class includes two practical exercises focused on finger techniques, chord progressions, scales, hand coordination, and melody training along with basic theory concepts. A structured home assignment is provided after every class to help students improve consistently before the next lesson.
Piano and keyboard provide a powerful foundation for understanding music because students can clearly see how notes, scales, chords, intervals, harmony, and melodies connect.
Our approach combines theory, listening, technique, coordination, and practical playing from the beginning.
Students gradually learn to understand what they are playing rather than relying only on memorised finger movements.
As their understanding develops, they can begin to explore chord progressions, accompaniment, melodies, harmony, improvisation, arranging, and performance.
The goal: Turn the keyboard from a collection of keys into a complete musical language.
Piano & Keyboards
Drums / Percussion
Each drum class includes two practical exercises covering rhythm training, stick control, timing, groove patterns, fills, and coordination techniques along with basic rhythm theory. Students are given a practice assignment after every class to build consistency and improve performance for the next session. Drumming is not simply about hitting the right drums at the right time. We help students understand rhythm, pulse, timing, coordination, dynamics, groove, and musical interaction. From the beginner level, students develop their sense of timing and learn how rhythm works within music. As they progress, we introduce more complex patterns, fills, coordination, musical interpretation, and performance skills. We want students to understand how their playing supports and communicates with the rest of the music not just memorise drum patterns. The goal: Build a strong sense of rhythm that becomes a natural part of your musicianship.

Great experience. Best place for first timers, me being one too, though I’m learning online . Manjit sir is a great musician and good teacher too. I excelled from Beginners level to Intermediate level under his guidance within a short span of time (only 11 classes). Truly a great journey with the Guitar so far and I know someday I’ll be a great guitar player like Manjit sir.

I’ve been playing guitar self taught for last 20 years but always lag in some techniques, scales understanding and music theory. In 2 months of my online classes with Manjit i now enjoyed playing guitar more than ever. I love to continue my classes with Manjit in person 1:1. Thanks Manjit for sharing your knowledge and mentoring..

It's truly inspiring to see him play, he is an institution in himself. In today's day and age, information from the internet and tutorial videos might be easy, but getting motivated and the pursuit of learning the guitar with passion and feel can only come when a student is truly inspired. For me, everytime when i used come back home (after watching Manjit Jospeh play his hardcore true rocknroll guitar), I would play the guitar till i get it right with the same feel and passion which I witnessed. And that has really helped me learn and become better.
